About the role
The Iowa Department of Inspections, Appeals, and Licensing (DIAL) is seeking a Website Content Coordinator to join their regulatory department and serve as part of the Professional Licensing Division at their central office in Des Moines, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Serve as website coordination lead for the professional licensing division’s website standardization project
- Interview employees to obtain information about agency programs, including licensure and continuing education requirements for publishing on the DIAL website
- Produce standardized website content for 26 licensing boards in alignment with templates provided by communications staff
- Serve as a content editor for website language
- Affirm compliance with document accessibility standards
- Collaborate with DIAL’s communications team

Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in journalism, public relations, graphic design, or communications
- Four years of full-time work experience in planning and developing content for dissemination through traditional media (newspapers, publications, radio, and television), websites, social media, and/or public speaking
- A total of four years of education (as described in number one) and/or full-time experience (as described in number two), where thirty semester hours of accredited college or university course work equals one year of full-time
