Webmaster & Digital Accessibility Manager

About the role

The Webmaster & Digital Accessibility Manager will lead the management, performance, and accessibility of the institution's web presence. Responsibilities include maintaining and enhancing enterprise websites, administering content management systems, ensuring compliance with digital accessibility standards, and leveraging analytics and SEO to improve user engagement and website effectiveness. The role serves as a subject matter expert for web governance, accessibility, and website operations, collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance enterprise websites
• Administer content management systems
• Ensure compliance with digital accessibility standards (WCAG, ADA, Section 508)
• Leverage analytics and SEO to improve user engagement and website effectiveness
• Serve as a subject matter expert for web governance, accessibility, and website operations
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to deliver high-quality, user-focused digital experiences

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in website development, webmaster functions, or website administration
• Strong expertise in digital accessibility standards including WCAG, ADA, and Section 508 compliance
• Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience managing enterprise CMS platforms such as Cascade CMS, Sitefinity, or WordPress
• Experience utilizing GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and SEO best practices to analyze website performance and drive continuous improvement

• Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills
• Proactive approach to problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to balance competing priorities
• Experience with .NET development, Python and PHP scripting, UX/UI implementation, and Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator
• Previous higher education experience and familiarity supporting multimedia or livestreaming initiatives

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Atlanta, GA.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
