Web Server Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Web Server Specialist to install, configure, manage, and support web and application servers, primarily on Windows platforms with ASP.NET.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain web servers
• Develop and manage APIs
• Implement DevOps practices using tools like Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in networking, IIS, user security, encryption, and certificates
• Experience with cloud services like Microsoft Azure and AWS (PaaS, IaaS, SaaS)
• Experience supporting federal agencies or military environments is highly desirable
• U.S. citizenship and a background check are required
• Knowledge of .NET, C#, HTML5, CSS3, XML, and WCF

Work Environment

• Hybrid setup in Fairfax County, VA
• Low noise level
• Primarily day shifts
• Minimal travel
• Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and requires vision capabilities

Pay

$80,000 - $120,000
