Web Press Roll Tenders

About the role

Job Type: Full-time. The Web Press Roll Tender works together with the Press Operators and Assistants to ensure smooth and efficient production by maintaining an appropriate supply of roll paper stock to the press at all times and performing other pressroom duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Verify roll inventory number against job ticket.
• Record roll numbers and weight on roll log sheet.
• Prep rolls for splicer and stage rolls in appropriate location using roll truck.
• Move rolls into position and hang rolls in splicer.
• Check settings on splicer and adjust as needed.
