Web Press Operator - Nights

Job Description

RRD is looking for an energetic, and highly motivated team member to join our team of Press Operators at our Elk Grove Village facility.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials and specifications, equipment, and safety requirements
• Skills to perform assignments, read and understand job specifications, and determine the most appropriate press usage, press settings and materials needed
• Skill to make a variety of difficult precise settings of controls, settings, and adjustments, and to perform routine operational maintenance of equipment
• Knowledge of the appropriate amount of packing pressure needed to obtain the proper printing pressure for the type of job being run
• Knowledge of in-line finishing, die cutting, inserters, imagers, color and register is required
• Communication skills, troubleshooting/problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude
• Continuous standing/walking - 8 -12 hrs, occasional bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching, lifting and pushing/pulling - 50 lbs. or less, repetitive motion with both hands

• The pay range for this role at the noted location is $27.34 to $39.29 per hour.
• The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location.
• In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
