Web Growth Marketing Manager San Francisco, CA
About the role
You'll own one of our most critical growth levers — amplitude.com — with impact on strategy, not just execution.
You'll work on the frontier of AI-powered marketing. We're actively integrating AI-native workflows across everything we build. And we recently partnered with Statsig to expand our experimentation portfolio.
You'll have dedicated resources: web engineers and brand/growth designers who are aligned to this function — so you can move fast and build with craft.
You'll sit within a larger integrated marketing team, giving you broad leverage across campaigns, product launches, and PLG and sales pipeline initiatives.
Amplitude is the category leader in digital analytics and experimentation — and you'll be one of its most expert users, running experiments and optimization using the very product we sell.
Responsibilities
- Website Strategy & Ownership
- Own amplitude.com as a strategic growth engine — defining site architecture, user journeys, and content strategy that drives both self-serve growth and enterprise pipeline.
- Build a forward-looking roadmap grounded in performance data, experimentation insights, and a clear POV on what moves the business.
- Own and scale the Sanity CMS platform, building it into a self-serve system that empowers teams across the org to publish independently.
- Conversion & Experimentation
- Design and continuously optimize conversion-focused experiences across product pages, pricing, demo request flows, and campaign landing pages.
- Lead experimentation and measurement strategy using Amplitude Analytics and Web Experiment to improve engagement, conversion, and pipeline generation across web surfaces.
- Analyze website-attributed pipeline in Salesforce, surfacing trends across GTM segments and win/loss patterns to guide investment decisions.
- Cross-Functional Partnership
- Partner closely with web engineering to ship new capabilities — you're a peer in the build process, not a gatekeeper.
- Collaborate across Marketing, Product, Growth, Sales, and Engineering — navigating tradeoffs with a clear business POV and strong stakeholder communication.
- Shape repeatable, scalable approaches for product launches and campaign experiences that maintain a high bar for performance and brand consistency.
- AI-Native Ways of Working
- Introduce and operationalize AI-native workflows (Claude, Claude Cowork, Claude Code) to accelerate content creation, site improvements, and operational efficiency.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience owning or co-owning a corporate website or web growth program for a SaaS, AI, or tech company.
- Demonstrated experience working directly with engineering teams — you know how to scope, prioritize, and collaborate in a technical environment.
- Strong experimentation mindset: you've run A/B tests and conversion optimization programs on corporate or product marketing sites.
- Data-driven by nature — you make decisions from evidence, not intuition alone. Experience with Amplitude or a comparable analytics platform is a strong plus.
- Experience with a headless CMS (Sanity experience a bonus; Contentful, Prismic, or similar all count).
- Excellent cross-functional communicator who can align stakeholders across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Marketing.
- Background in a growth-stage startup or scaling SaaS/AI company — you're comfortable with ambiguity and know how to build systems where none exist.
- Familiarity with AI products or AI-native workflows — bonus if you've worked at an AI company or integrated AI tooling into your marketing operations.
- Prior exposure to PLG (product-led growth) motions alongside enterprise pipeline generation.
- Strong understanding of web technologies and SEO best practices.
- Experience with analytics platforms like Google Analytics, Amplitude, or similar.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) such as Sanity, Contentful, or Prismic.
- Ability to lead and manage cross-functional projects.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Competitive pay and benefits packages that reflect our commitment to the health and well-being of our Ampliteers.
- Generous stipends for wellness, commuting, learning and development, home office equipment, and more.
- Mental health and wellness benefits including no-cost employee access to Modern Health coaching & therapy sessions and high-quality physician office experience via One Medical membership.
- Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP).
- Unlimited PTO, 10 to 13 holidays annually (will vary), medical, dental, and vision PPO and CDHP plans.
- Company-sponsored 401(k) retirement plan.
