Web & Graphic Designer
Phidev is a remote U.S. company based in El Paso, TX, serving clients across the United States. We’re looking for a detail-oriented designer who understands how design translates to web and digital experiences and can thrive in a work-from-home environment.
About the role
As part of our team, you’ll work on a broad range of projects—from designing and developing web and app layouts, navigation, and functionality to crafting innovative app experiences and maintaining brand consistency across digital channels. This is an opportunity to dive into the day-to-day of a growing digital agency, work with cutting-edge technologies, and tackle challenging problems daily.
You’ll collaborate on projects and communication pieces that engage our clients’ audiences, including interactive websites, digital advertising, magazines, and smartphone apps. Every project is a team effort, so you’ll need to work closely with project managers, developers, and fellow designers.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop web and app layouts, navigation, and functionality
- Create innovative app experiences and maintain brand consistency across digital channels
- Design interactive websites, digital advertising, magazines, and smartphone apps
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and designers on team-based projects
- Test and refine web and mobile marketing collateral
Requirements
- Advanced (mostly written) English proficiency
- Experience designing and executing in the digital space
- Proficiency in Sketch App, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS, responsive design principles, and standard UX web practices (preferred)
- Reliable workstation with a stable internet connection
- Experience designing and testing web and mobile marketing collateral
- Experience with WordPress (a plus)
