About The Role

The Web & Digital Marketing Designer at Lumelight is a web-first creative professional responsible for crafting, maintaining, and optimizing responsive web pages and landing pages primarily using WordPress and Elementor. This role combines visual design excellence with technical proficiency to produce engaging, accessible, and brand-aligned digital experiences. The ideal candidate will work closely with marketing, SEO, sales, and product teams to implement campaign strategies, optimize content for search engines, and develop multimedia assets that enhance brand visibility and engagement.

  • Build and update web content
  • Ensure quality assurance
  • Apply on-page SEO best practices such as metadata, semantic heading structures, alt text, internal linking, and schema markup
  • Identify content gaps and opportunities that support SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in web design, digital marketing design, or creative production roles
  • Proven experience designing, building, updating, publishing, and quality-assuring WordPress websites using Elementor
  • Proficiency with WordPress and Elementor
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or Premiere Pro
  • Strong understanding of responsive website design for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS for styling and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimization techniques
  • Experience creating multimedia content, including videos, social clips, podcasts, and motion graphics (preferred)
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and website performance optimization
  • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage website templates, global styles, reusable sections, and design system components to ensure consistency and scalability
  • Implement on-page SEO elements, including metadata, heading structures, alt text, internal links, and schema markup as per best practices
  • Utilize keyword insights and search intent data to optimize webpage structure, content, and user experience
  • Identify content gaps, FAQs, customer questions, and proof points to support SEO, AEO, and GEO strategies
  • Create digital marketing collateral, campaign assets, presentations, event materials, and branded content
  • Develop multimedia assets such as videos, social media clips, webinars, and podcasts to enhance engagement
  • Ensure all deliverables adhere to Lumelight's brand standards, accessibility guidelines, and visual identity
  • Conduct website QA reviews to ensure responsiveness, accessibility, browser compatibility, and optimal performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into compelling visual communications
  • Leverage AI-powered tools and emerging technologies to improve content production and marketing outcomes
  • Maintain organized files, assets, workflows, and version control processes
  • Obtain approval from the Creative Manager before publishing critical content and campaign materials
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and company goals
