Web Developer
Power is looking for a developer with 3-5 years of experience with WordPress/PHP to join our Business Technology team at our headquarters, just outside of Philadelphia, PA. While the majority of your time will be spent designing, building, and maintaining our WordPress-based marketing and brand websites, you’ll also contribute to our core platform, Nitro, built on Ruby on Rails and React. We are reinventing the home remodeling industry and need top-notch designers and developers to help build our technology platform and strengthen our brand.
About the role
At Power, you will work on challenging technology problems and design lasting, sustainable solutions. You will be part of a cross-functional Scrum team, collaborating with application architects, UX designers, and developers. You’ll have the autonomy to make decisions and choose the right tools and methods for the job. As an experienced WordPress developer, you’ll bring the latest industry trends to build and deliver highly visible websites.
Our technology team builds a custom suite of products that power our entire business, including marketing, sales, operations, finance, and communications. We use cutting-edge technologies like augmented reality, computer vision, machine learning, speech recognition, geospatial data, and mobile platforms. While we operate like a startup—moving fast, shipping rapidly, and iterating quickly—we are a well-funded, profitable organization within an established company.
Power values diversity and actively seeks people with different perspectives and experiences. We’ve been recognized as one of Computerworld’s Best Places to Work in IT, Fortune Magazine’s #1 Workplace for Millennials, Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work, Inc. 5000’s Fastest Growing Private Companies, and Philadelphia Magazine’s Coolest Companies.
