About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Web Developer, Level 2, to join our dynamic team in Fort Meade, Maryland. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining engaging, user-centric websites that facilitate effective communication and information sharing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze technical needs, and implement solutions using a variety of web technologies. Your expertise will contribute to creating visually appealing interfaces with intuitive navigation, ensuring compliance with design standards and security protocols. You will also manage configuration control, troubleshoot software issues, and support the deployment of high-performance web applications. Responsibilities

• Maintain a fully functional, user-accessible website ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Code and support the development of less complex websites using HTML, Visual Basic, and other programming languages.
• Participate in website planning, deployment, and technical documentation to support ongoing maintenance and upgrades.
• Develop, test, and support high-performance, innovative web-based applications aligned with organizational needs.
• Troubleshoot software problems, analyze issues, and implement solutions using the latest technologies.
• Collaborate with management and IT teams to define technical specifications and project requirements.
• Utilize internet technologies, graphics software, and object-oriented languages to create user interface features, animations, special effects, databases, and e-business applications.
• Integrate new web products with existing applications to enhance functionality and user experience.
• Ensure all web solutions adhere to formal design guidelines, security standards, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain configuration control to guarantee reliability and consistency across web platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university, or four (4) additional years of relevant web development experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience as a Web Developer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance with Polygraph.
• Proficiency in HTML, Visual Basic, and other web-based programming languages.
• Experience with internet technologies, including graphics software, object-oriented languages (e.g., Java, CGI, XML), and database integration.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to develop, test, and support innovative web applications.
• Ability to work independently on complex projects and collaborate effectively with management and technical teams.
