About The Role We're looking for a talented Web Designer to create engaging, user-focused experiences across our web-based applications, public portals, and marketing websites. In this role, you'll be responsible for visual design, information architecture, and user interface design, transforming complex concepts into intuitive and visually compelling digital experiences. Working closely with clients and development teams, you'll design web page layouts, wireframes, and graphic assets while ensuring seamless functionality and usability across browsers, devices, and platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong design instincts with front-end development knowledge, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and has a passion for creating responsive, mobile-first experiences that deliver exceptional results for users. What You’ll Do: Create user interfaces using front-end code in HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptDeliver front-end code that functions consistently across all browsers, devices, and platformsEnsure front-end code is responsive and implemented with a mobile-first approachLeverage the existing frameworks and technologyDesign websites that are easy to access and visually effectiveCreate wireframes, rapid prototypes, and comps to show important interactions, functionality, user interfaces, and mock-up designsDesign for maximum usability with a focus on user experienceProvide design advice on projects and make recommendations for improving websites Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitor products Coordinate closely with Client Services and Marketing Specialists to support clientsFulfill multiple project requests while simultaneously meeting tight production deadlines Who You Are: Bachelor’s degree in web design and development, UI design, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experienceTwo years of web design experience utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, Bootstrap front-end framework, or similar tools for creating websites and web applicationsExperience with user interface and user experience (UI/UX) designOnline portfolio of design samplesProficiency in Adobe Creative SuiteProficiency in FigmaSolid knowledge of web technologies and applications Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptKnowledge of Bootstrap front-end frameworkUnderstanding of accessibility requirementsStrong knowledge of responsive and mobile designFamiliarity with iOS and Android application designFamiliarity with backend/CMS applicationsVerbal and written communication skillsTroubleshooting skillsStrong attention to detail and solid organizational skillsAbility to learn new technologies and integrate them into the environment and practicesSelf-motivated, disciplined, and able to work effectively as part of a teamAbility to work at assigned office locationAbility to attend meetings and perform tasks for long periods on a computer and on the telephoneRegular attendance and a regular work schedule are essential functions of this job Real Estate runs on Yardi.
