Web Designer

About the Role

The Web Designer is a full-time remote role responsible for designing and maintaining visually engaging, user-friendly websites that align with Egotechworld’s brand and client needs. Day-to-day tasks include creating layouts and interfaces, designing graphics and visual assets, and implementing responsive web design principles to ensure an optimal experience across devices.

The role involves collaborating with developers, content creators, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective digital designs, as well as iterating on feedback to refine and improve user experiences. The Web Designer will also contribute to design standards, maintain consistency across projects, and stay current with design trends and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain visually engaging, user-friendly websites.
• Create layouts and interfaces, and design graphics and visual assets.
• Implement responsive web design principles for optimal cross-device experiences.
• Collaborate with developers, content creators, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into digital designs.

• Stay current with design trends and best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Web Design and Responsive Web Design to create intuitive, accessible, and mobile-friendly user interfaces.
• Ability to produce high-quality visual assets using Graphic Design and Graphics tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Experience with Front-End Development (HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with developers and implement designs.
• Understanding of UX/UI principles, information architecture, and web usability best practices.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Portfolio demonstrating professional web design work and responsive layouts.
• Relevant education or equivalent experience in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
