About the role
This position provides administration, support, integration, and continuous improvement of the organization's marketing technology platforms and digital ecosystem. Serves as the technical owner of marketing business applications, websites, digital forms, collaboration platforms, and related technologies. Working closely with Marketing, Information Technology, and third-party vendors, ensures the reliability, security, and effectiveness of digital marketing systems while implementing solutions that improve workflows, automate processes, and enhance the user experience for both staff and patients.
Responsibilities
- Serves as the primary administrator for Marketing-owned technology platforms; configures, maintains, and optimizes marketing systems to support departmental objectives.
- Manages platform settings, permissions, integrations, and system health; evaluates new features and recommends technology improvements.
- Administers and maintains enterprise websites through the Content Management System (CMS); creates, updates, and publishes digital content while ensuring brand consistency and accessibility compliance.
- Troubleshoots website functionality, navigation, widgets, media assets, and page rendering issues; coordinates website enhancements with internal departments and external vendors.
- Develops, configures, and maintains electronic forms and workflow solutions; implements conditional logic, automated routing, notifications, and approval processes.
- Troubleshoots submission issues and ensures accurate delivery of information to business units; tests and validates production changes.
- Administers marketing automation, CRM-related tools, provider directory platforms, event systems, and related applications; supports integrations between marketing platforms and enterprise systems.
- Assists with campaign setup and platform configuration.
- Maintains SharePoint sites, pages, lists, libraries, and permissions; improves collaboration tools and departmental workflows; develops documentation and organizes digital content repositories.
- Provides advanced technical support for Marketing personnel; diagnoses and resolves software, platform, and workflow issues; researches complex technical problems and coordinates resolution with vendors and Information Technology.
- Serves as the primary technical contact for Marketing software vendors; coordinates support cases, software updates, implementations, and testing activities; participates in evaluating new technologies and platform enhancements.
- Monitors website performance and platform utilization; produces reports related to digital engagement, forms, workflows, and system usage; analyzes trends and recommends improvements based on available data.
- Identifies opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency; develops standard operating procedures and technical documentation; recommends best practices for marketing technology governance.
- Demonstrates consistent attendance, professional ethics, and appearance; manages time efficiently and prioritizes workflow; establishes effective working relationships with staff, department directors, and physicians.
- Participates in interdepartmental committees or hospital-wide activities as assigned; assumes responsibility for own continuing education; respects patient rights to privacy and confidentiality of information.
- Participates in the maintenance of a clean and safe environment; complies with WKH policy regarding transmission-based precautions.
- Other duties as deemed necessary and appropriate, or as may be directed by the department head.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Marketing Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience administering enterprise software platforms.
- Experience supporting websites or digital content management systems.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise CMS platforms, Sitefinity preferred.
- Experience with SharePoint Online administration.
- Experience with Formstack or similar digital forms platforms.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Eloqua.
- Familiarity with provider directory management systems.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web technologies.
