Web Content Specialist - Temporary

Position Title

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities

• Publish weekly news stories
• Produce monthly digital newsletters
• Ensure website content remains current, accurate, and engaging
• Manage a web support ticket queue
• Complete content updates
• Cook with the web development team to resolve technical issues and website bugs
• Maintain and improve the user experience through page layout updates, content organization, and website enhancements

Required Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience creating, editing, and publishing digital content for websites, newsletters, or other online platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, Public Relations, Web Design, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience managing website content for a large or complex organization
• Experience writing and editing news stories, feature articles, or digital communications
• Experience producing email newsletters or other digital communications
• Knowledge of website accessibility and usability best practices
• Experience using web analytics tools and data to inform content decisions
