Web Content Manager

Job Summary

The Web Content Manager supports the communication of information to the market and the public across ERCOT's digital presence, including ERCOT.com and other ERCOT websites, the ERCOT mobile app, and social media channels such as X and Facebook.

Job Duties

• Independently manages web content publication cycles including scheduling, review, and sign-off coordination
• Contributes to business and project implementation supporting the further development of ERCOT's websites
• Counsels on content ownership and content management processes per best practices
• Creates and consistently improves upon workflow for site content
• Analyzes site data and traffic to maximize the online impact of all initiatives

Experience Level

• Requires minimum 2 years job related work experience in excess of degree requirements
• Prioritize preferred skills: HTML, CSS, Content management for a highly visible website, web publishing experience, web design and user experience (UX) background, hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other graphic design tools, demonstrated experience designing professional PowerPoint presentations and data visualizations for business or executive audiences, experience posting and managing content on social media platforms (LinkedIn, X, etc.) and/or developing social media strategy, content calendars, and engagement analytics

Education

• Bachelor's Degree : MIS, Computer Science, Business, or related field (Required)

Work Location

• Taylor, TX & Austin: Employees will be required to be on-site in Taylor, TX at minimum 2 days per week, or more, as needed based on the business needs as determined by management
• On-site schedules are flexible or may be rotated based on business needs as determined by the Manager
• Remote work is required to be performed from your Texas residence

Expected Salary Range

$74,000 - $102,000
