About the role

The Machine Operator / Weaver is responsible for operating looms to weave yarn into cloth for hospitals, hotels and the home markets.

Responsibilities

• Repair warp & filling stops to determine the cause and correct.
• Remove cloth defects by cutting and pulling out filling.
• Examine woven cloth for to meet quality standards.
• Flag loom machines for the technician when necessary.
• Help to maintain a safe working environment.
• Perform additional duties necessary to maintain weaving operation.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
