Weatherization Technician

TITLE**: Weatherization TechnicianFLSA Status**: Non-exemptSUPERVISION EXERCISED:** NoneLENGTH OF POSITION:** Dependent upon continued program funding.SALARY RANGE:** $18.40 and up, DOE; Full Time; 40 hours per week General Statement Of Duties The position performs production work, which includes installation of weatherization materials, weather-strips, glass replacement, door replacement, installing water heater wraps and installing insulation; performs duties requiring attention to details, accuracy, and timeliness. Position travels to homes in our 17-county service area to install weatherization material; requires ability to keep clear and accurate records and confidentiality, may deal with difficult clients and deadlines. Position occasionally works outside normal office hours due to the amount of travel involved. Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Experience in residential weatherization and/or the construction business desired. Must possess a valid Montana driver's license, liability insurance and availability to travel extensively. Willingness to work around potentially hazardous materials and housing conditions. Must successfully complete annual background check. Requires basic knowledge of building components and installation standards.
