Environmental Technician

Responsibilities

  • Conduct field investigations and environmental assessments.
  • Collect soil, water, and air samples in accordance with established protocols.
  • Assist in the implementation of remedial actions.
  • Conduct environmental remediation system operations and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with project managers, scientists, and other team members to achieve project goals.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed field notes and data records.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree (minimum) or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Biology, or a related field required.
  • Previous experience in environmental consulting or a related field is a plus, but not required.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements is helpful.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to travel and conduct fieldwork in various environmental settings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
