Weatherization Manager

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Environmental Management, or other related field
• Demonstrate strong project and department management experience
• Experience understanding and complying with contracts
• Experience working with the public
• Able to calculate mathematical formulas
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Some evenings and weekend hours required
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and maintain active car insurance

Essential Job Functions

• Manage department and supervise administrative and field staff
• Ensure all work performed is in compliance with all Federal, State, and Agency regulations and guidelines
• Oversee department budget
• Report program outcomes
• Work closely with Fiscal and Quality Assurance departments to ensure compliance according to grantors guidelines
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedure Manual
• Develop and maintain sealed bids with contractors
• Avoid approving payment to contractors without proper documentation
• Effectively analyze and identify trends and provide feedback and reports to improve efficiencies and reduce errors
• Avoid conducting audits without following funder guidelines
• Avoid failing to ensure staff comply with all company policies and procedures
• Provide excellent customer service to participants, staff, and vendors by telephone, in person, and/or in writing
• Avoid entering data inaccurately in database systems
• Avoid adjusting to frequent changes in duties and procedures without proper training
• Avoid being nonjudgmental and objective in working with clients, vendors, and coworkers
• Avoid working independently and in team settings without clear direction
• Avoid performing other duties as special projects are assigned without approval
• Avoid representing CAAGKC at special events, meetings, and/or remote locations without proper preparation
• Avoid informing participants of other CAAGKC programs and services they may qualify for without proper knowledge
• Avoid performing any other duties as assigned without authorization
