As a Weatherization Helper, you'll work alongside experienced Weatherization Technicians, learning how to improve the energy efficiency, comfort, and safety of homes and businesses through hands-on, on-the-job training. What You’ll Do
- Assist Weatherization Technicians with residential and commercial weatherization projects
- Learn how to install insulation materials, including blown-in and batt insulation
- Assist with insulating attics, crawl spaces, basements, walls, ductwork, and water lines
- Assist with air sealing and installing weather-stripping, caulking, glazing, and door sweeps
- Help install ventilation materials and other energy-efficiency improvements
- Assist with wrapping water heaters and water lines with appropriate insulating materials
- Learn how weatherization improvements can improve energy efficiency and comfort
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, construction equipment, and insulation blowers as trained
- Load, unload, organize, and maintain tools, materials, and equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow written and verbal instructions from Weatherization Technicians and leadership
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
- Communicate professionally with customers, teammates, and leadership

Requirements
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Must possess a valid driver's license
