About the role

Johnson Financial Group, Wisconsin’s largest privately held, family‑owned financial services institution, offers an 11‑week rotational internship with the Wealth team. Interns receive a hands‑on, immersive learning experience designed to build a strong foundation for a career in wealth management. The program includes structured rotations, mentorship from experienced professionals, and opportunities to contribute to real‑world projects from day one.

Areas of experience

• Wealth Advisory: Observe client meetings, assist with proposal development and financial plans, and learn the consultative sales process as advisory teams identify client needs and deliver complex financial solutions.
• Portfolio Strategy: Partner with trading, investment analyst, and portfolio management teams to understand investment strategies, asset allocation, and portfolio construction.
• Client Experience: Work with internal teams that manage the Wealth client service delivery model, supporting advisor success through onboarding, workflow optimization, and technology enhancements.

Qualifications

• Actively seeking a degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Junior standing.
• Member of a financial or investment organization – a plus.
• Member of a financial planning program – highly desired.
