Wealth Private Banking Advisor

About the role
The Wealth Private Advisor’s primary responsibility is to deepen client relationships around banking, credit, and insurance with Wealth segment clients. Located within a virtual team, the Wealth Private Advisor will act as the point of contact for the Private Client Group Financial Advisors (FAs) within their assigned Truist regions. The advisor will coordinate with PCG FAs to deliver Truist Wealth banking solutions for clients who have over $1MM in investments at Truist, identifying and fulfilling banking and credit solutions where the FA acts as the Primary Relationship Advisor.
The Wealth Private Advisor will build and maintain successful partnerships with internal Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) partners, including FAs, Insurance Specialists, Wealth Lending Officers, Small Business Specialists, Mortgage Loan Officers, and others. The role requires a working knowledge and experience in investments, banking, insurance, and lending products to provide appropriate recommendations that meet client needs and financial goals.
Responsibilities
- Work with PCG FAs to deliver Wealth Banking and Credit solutions for clients with $1MM+ in investments at Truist.
- Develop and deliver video (primary) and in-person presentations to small and large groups to demonstrate and train on the value of a Wealth Private Advisor’s relationship with both internal and external partners.
- Leverage business knowledge and the Trusted Wealth Relationship and Advisory Process (Wrap) to engage existing clients, determine appropriate strategies, and recommend financial solutions.
- Help FAs and clients set and prioritize goals, develop customized solutions, establish progress timelines, and ensure follow-up.
- Coordinate information gathering, development, and delivery of financial profiling for FAs, clients, and potential clients. Liaise between clients and appropriate internal/external partners to implement solutions.
- Monitor, maintain, and update sales activity, pipeline, and other pertinent information using the bank’s client relationship management (CRM) system.
- Proactively engage with assigned Truist regions and IRM partners on identified key partnerships.
- Educate clients and FAs on Wealth credit and banking solutions, recommending solutions to help achieve financial goals.
- Ensure Credit and Banking Solutions are delivered and serviced with a "perfect client experience."
- Build strong relationships with Complex and Team Directors in the assigned Truist region, as well as all PCG FAs within the region.
- Develop and execute training for FAs on the value and referral process.
- Create ongoing two-way feedback loops with Complex Directors and PSG FAs.
- Operate within the existing audit, compliance, and regulatory framework to ensure a high-quality, compliant book of business.

- Stay abreast of changing economic, legal, financial planning, and investment trends impacting High Net Worth clients.
- Serve as a personal financial advisory resource for clients, their attorneys, and CPAs.
- 4-year degree.
- 10–15 years of demonstrated leadership ability.
- 8–10 years of direct sales experience in Financial Services, or 10–15 years of sales experience in a related industry.
- FINRA licensing: Series 7, 63, and insurance life and health.
Preferred Qualifications
- CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation.
- Master’s Degree.
