Wealth Management Trust Administrator - Albany, NY
About the role
The Trust Administrator reports to the Assistant Vice President and is part of a non-exempt, supervisory role. This position plays a crucial part in maintaining and developing client accounts, ensuring compliance with regulations and Bank policies, and managing client interactions.
Responsibilities
- Maintains ongoing communication with assigned clients via telephone, email, and mail correspondence.
- Responds to account inquiries regarding statements, fees, income levels, and cash needs.
- Ensures compliance with regulations and Bank policies and procedures as they pertain to financial services activities.
- Schedules client meetings to review account performance, answer questions, and update client information.
- Processes bills, evaluates cash balances, estimates taxes, and works with investment managers to raise capital for assigned client load.
- Processes account maintenance for all assigned clients.
Qualifications & Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent level of education and experience.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Well organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work to time-sensitive deadlines.
- Ability to work well independently and in groups.
- Working knowledge with Microsoft Office Programs; Excel and Word.

Pay
The exact salary range is not specified, but it is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm. Flexibility for evenings and weekends as needed is available.
Travel
Occasional travel to events is required. A valid driver’s license is needed.
