About the Role

The Annuity and Insurance Product Delivery & Platform Strategy Team drives projects and programs focused on strategic and continuous improvement initiatives supporting the Annuity and Insurance product organization across JPM Wealth Management. This role partners with business leadership, key stakeholders, and third-party U.S.-based insurance carriers and vendors to define, develop, and manage successful implementations. A strong focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives will translate the business AI vision into an executable roadmap, including program scope, delivery operating model, milestones, resourcing, and dependency management across multiple concurrent initiatives.

The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, thinks strategically, influences without authority, and leads complex projects with a broad scope of stakeholders. Managing multiple workstreams simultaneously and driving projects end-to-end to completion is essential. Collaboration across business functions—such as sales, operations, technology, marketing, legal, risk, and compliance—is critical. Familiarity with the financial services industry, particularly Life Insurance & Annuities, is required.

Responsibilities

  • Support Product Delivery across Annuities & Insurance products, overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle from epic creation, story writing, progress reports, UAT oversight, and go-live sign-off.
  • Lead AI initiative delivery (end-to-end): Own intake, scoping, roadmap, and execution for AI projects supporting the Annuity & Life insurance business (e.g., AI-enabled tools, process automation, decision-support), aligning stakeholders on objectives, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
  • Translate business needs into executable plans: Partner with product, technology, data, risk/compliance, and operations teams to convert use cases into clear requirements, delivery milestones, dependency plans, and success metrics (e.g., adoption, cycle-time reduction, quality/accuracy improvements).
  • Drive operational excellence with AI-enabled project management practices: Identify and pilot AI capabilities to improve project management efficiency (e.g., status automation, risk/issue prediction, documentation support) and standardize governance, reporting, and change management.
  • Develop and manage initiatives while balancing stakeholder, risk, and business impacts.
  • Leverage data to understand user behavior, drive decision-making, and achieve business goals for growth and efficiency.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define functional requirements and translate them into Epics and stories for technology delivery.
  • Oversee and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) for projects, provide testing results, assess readiness for go-live, and facilitate go/no-go decisions.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years in project/program management with multi-workstream delivery ownership (technology, data, or digital transformation).
  • Experience operating at the VP level in financial services, with preferred subject matter expertise in annuities and/or insurance.
  • Direct experience delivering AI/ML, advanced analytics, automation, or GenAI-enabled capabilities (understanding the lifecycle and delivery implications, even if not hands-on model building).
  • Ability to convert AI strategy into a sequenced roadmap with clear milestones, dependencies, resourcing, and benefits tracking.
  • Strong prioritization and decision facilitation skills: Run objective prioritization processes (value, complexity, data readiness, operational readiness, risk) and drive timely decisions with senior leaders.
  • End-to-end delivery management: Own delivery from intake and requirements through build, testing, release, adoption, and post-launch measurement (including hyper care where needed).

Benefits

We offer a competitive total rewards package including base salary determined based on role, experience, skill set, and location. Eligible roles may receive commission-based pay and/or discretionary incentive compensation, paid in cash and/or forfeitable equity, awarded for individual achievements and contributions. Benefits include:
