Wealth Management Investment Spec Assistant
About the role
This position is a service and support representative functioning as the client contact for Wealth Management supporting Portfolio Managers. You will handle day-to-day client calls, answer questions, and resolve client problems, escalating items beyond specified authority to the assigned Investment Specialist. The role includes performing and monitoring account trades within delegated authority, preparing reports, proposals, and marketing materials for clients and prospects, and working proactively to identify potential problems and compliance issues to ensure portfolio quality and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary client contact for Wealth Management, supporting Portfolio Managers.
- Handle day-to-day client calls, answer questions, and resolve client problems; escalate issues beyond delegated authority to the assigned Investment Specialist.
- Perform and monitor account trades within delegated authority.
- Prepare reports, proposals, and marketing materials for clients and prospects.
- Proactively identify potential problems and compliance issues to ensure portfolio quality and compliance.
- Develop working knowledge of assigned area and accounts through frequent client contact and execution of standard departmental procedures.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: Typically an Associate's degree and/or five or more years of relevant experience.
Skills
- Advanced knowledge of departmental operations/policies and bank products/services.
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and interpret data.
- Ability to resolve complex problems with minimal guidance.
- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with department-specific systems preferred.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $22.50 - $30.00 per hour, reflecting figures based on the primary location.
