About the role

The Wealth Management Centralized Trading Analyst at Regions is responsible for trading and portfolio management activities for accounts in Asset Management and other portions of Wealth Management. This role supports partners, advises internal advisors, and enhances trading efficiency and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

  • Initiates, maintains, monitors, and executes required actions to effect security transactions in accounts where given trading authority.
  • Rebalances, raises and invests cash, implements model changes, and liquidates accounts as required.
  • Supports Portfolio Managers, Private Wealth Management (PWM) Trust Advisors, and Relationship Consultants with the implementation of investment policies, unique trade requests, and actions developed by the Investment Working Group.
  • Provides investment advice and guidance to PWM Trust Advisors and Relationship Consultants by developing client investment objectives and investment policy statements, monitoring portfolio risks, and effecting trades within client portfolios.
  • Executes on the trading platform with expert-level knowledge, participates in testing of quarterly software updates, detects and elevates system issues to trading platform vendor, and provides training to Regions Asset Management (RAM) Portfolio Managers regarding functionality.
  • Possesses a deep understanding of Asset Management’s best thinking and model creation, current asset allocation, and tactical allocations in RAM's Mutual Fund and Manager Models and Central Trading Group (CTG) firm level fulfillment models.
  • Performs ad hoc reporting and other firm level trade operation functions.
  • Assists in training associates on trading systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degreeOR High School Diploma or GED and four (4) years of trading, asset management, wealth management, trust operations, business, marketing, communications or other related experience.

Preferences

  • Relevant experience preferred (i.e. summer internship).

  • Ability to be proactive in learning new systems, be a team player, and take initiative to go above and beyond what is asked.
  • Demonstrated success in following documented desk procedures and enhancing procedures as appropriate.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven ability to work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position. Minimum Job Range Target: $53,388.50 USD Median $68,750.00 USD Incentive Pay Plans This job is not incentive eligible.
