Responsibilities

  • Maintain and deepen relationships with existing and prospective wealth management clients, delivering high-touch, personalized service
  • Engage regularly with clients to understand evolving needs, uncover opportunities, and strengthen long-term partnerships
  • Ensure consistent, proactive communication and documentation through CRM tools and workflows
  • Develop new investment management and trust relationships with high-net-worth individuals, families, businesses, and charitable organizations
  • Execute an active business development strategy, including outreach to attorneys, CPAs, and other key referral sources
  • Participate in community and professional organizations to expand presence and influence
  • Lead and coordinate financial planning and fiduciary activities for clients, collaborating with internal partners
  • Stay current on regulatory, tax, and planning developments and communicate insights to both clients and team members
  • Ensure trust accounts are administered in accordance with governing documents and fiduciary standards

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in investment-related business development, ideally within wealth management or trust services
  • Bachelor’s degree required; CFP or CTFA designation required
  • Demonstrated success working with and marketing to high-net-worth clients
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills
  • Proven ability to independently develop and grow client relationships and referral networks
  • Solid understanding of financial planning, estate planning, retirement planning, and trust services
  • High level of integrity, sound judgment, and professionalism
  • Self-directed approach with the ability to proactively guide clients through complex planning processes
