Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients through proactive relationship management and regular review meetings.
- Develop customized financial plans that address investments, retirement, tax considerations, estate planning, and risk management.
- Design and implement investment strategies and asset allocation plans aligned with client objectives, risk tolerance, and time horizon.
- Monitor portfolio performance, rebalance investments, and recommend adjustments based on market conditions and life events.
- Cook up with internal specialists (tax, estate, insurance) and external professionals to deliver integrated wealth solutions.
- Possess and prospect, cultivate, and convert new client relationships through referrals, networking, and targeted business development activities.
- Prepare clear, client-ready reports and presentations that explain strategy, performance, and planning recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and firm policies, maintain accurate client records, and adhere to fiduciary responsibilities.
- Stay current on market trends, investment products, and regulatory changes; pursue professional development and maintain required licenses and certifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation strongly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in wealth management, private client advisory, or investment advisory roles working with high-net-worth clients.
- Proven knowledge of investment products, portfolio construction, asset allocation, and risk management.
- FINRA registrations or state investment advisor licenses preferred (e.g., Series 7/66 or Series 65).
- Demonstrated track record of client acquisition, relationship management, and retention.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
- High integrity, client-first mindset, and commitment to a fiduciary standard.
- Proficiency with financial planning software, portfolio management tools, and CRM systems.
