About

We are looking for new PhD students to join our research on the relationship between digital technology use and well-being. This includes studying the impact of digital media on sleep quality, body image, cyber-aggression, loneliness, or health anxiety. We also examine how people perceive online content and the usage of generative AI.

Responsibilities

  • Design and conduct innovative studies within ongoing research projects
  • Contribute to the analysis of large datasets and interpret results
  • Collaborate with international researchers and participate in international conferences
  • Communicate research findings to the public through various channels

Requirements

  • PhD degree in Psychology, Communication Studies, Media Studies, or a closely related field
  • Strong background in quantitative methods and statistical analysis
  • Experience with digital technology use and well-being research
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Qualifications

  • Passionate about exploring the impact of digital technology on human well-being
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Interest in international collaboration and research stays

Skills

  • Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R)
  • Experience with qualitative research methods
