WC-Bar Back

Responsibilities

• Interacting with guests and staff members professionally and positively.
• Aid the bar staff in filling ice wells and stocking wells with necessary liquor bottles.
• Ensure beer bottles, wine, and cordials are stocked.
• Refill and date mixers, juices, and syrups.
• Cut fruit and other garnishes, and maintain the bar's readiness.
• Empty bus tubs and prepare the bar top for service.
• Make batch cocktails according to proper recipes and understand the batch system for canister changes.
• Arrive on time and ready to work in proper uniform.
• Use juicing machines safely and hygienically, meeting bar par levels.
• Follow management and bartender directions.
• Have extensive knowledge of the menu and be able to answer guest questions about food or drinks.
• Obtain and update any required certifications.
• Set up and break down the bar area before and after each shift, cleaning floors, bar top, and wells.
• Empty trash cans and wash dishes using the bar machine.

Qualifications

• Standing for long periods.
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Able to read and follow recipes for juices and batch cocktails.
• Properly use a knife and other kitchen equipment.
• Maintain all necessary certifications.
