Waxer/Stripper - Full Time - Nights

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Waxer/Stripper on a full-time night shift. In this role, the successful candidate is responsible for cleaning and maintaining a safe environment in the assigned area and assists with activities necessary for the effective functioning of the department.
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of environmental tasks necessary for the orderly functioning of the department.
- Recognizes and responds to issues that may cause problems and/or refers issues through the proper chain of command utilizing the escalation policy.
- Documents legibly and maintains open communication through a two-way radio system or phone.
- Responds to dispatch in a timely manner.
- Works to improve and/or maintain HCAHPS scores.
- Performs a variety of cleaning duties necessary for the orderly functioning of the department, including cleaning spills according to HAZMAT guidelines.
- Ensures equipment is functioning properly and reports problems to appropriate personnel when necessary.
- Utilizes appropriate communication in all interactions, demonstrating proper radio/phone etiquette.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate and understand simple directions in English.
- Ability to read MSDS and chemical labels.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field is preferred. Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $48,846.34 annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
