Wax Dresser (3rd shift)

About the role

The Wax Dresser position at Precision Castparts Corp. requires a minimum of one year experience as an operator in a manufacturing environment, with previous casting experience being a plus. This role involves operating various equipment and tools to dress and blend wax patterns, with a focus on producing high quantities and quality parts.

Responsibilities

• Perform all operations and operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner to dress and blend wax patterns.
• Meet daily production quotas by producing high quantity and quality parts.
• Use a variety of tools including glue, nail polish, car wax, china marker, propane torches, hot needle, hot plate, exacto knives, and dental tools.
• Work collaboratively with a team to solve problems and maintain a positive work atmosphere.

Requirements

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and may be substituted by experience.

• Able to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality/quantity.
• Able to work flexible hours with a history of dependability as demonstrated with a strong attendance record.
• Comfortable using a team approach to problem solving.
• Have a strong sense of urgency.
• Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co-workers, and supervisors.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience as an operator in a manufacturing environment. Previous casting experience is a plus.

• Experience with misc. hand tools, tables, racks, boxes, safety guidelines, feeds, grinders, inspection tools, etc.
