Responsibilities

• Allocate orders and release work to the warehouse floor to balance workflow and optimize productivity.
• Resolve order product shortages and manage order cuts while communicating updates to customers.
• Prioritize tasks for Lift Truck Operators and Dock Supervisors to ensure efficient operations.
• Ensure dock office utilizes inbound and outbound dock optimization functionality for each receipt and order.
• Review and update base priorities, work zone assignments, product code velocity zones, and pick locations in collaboration with Operations Manager.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement projects and safety programs and troubleshoot systems issues as needed.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred or minimum 1 year of warehouse operations experience required.
• Proficiency with basic PC software and Americold systems required.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Ability to train users on relevant systems and troubleshoot system problems required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred or minimum 1 year of warehouse operations experience required.

Skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to deliver attentive customer service.
• Ability to work collaboratively and respond appropriately to feedback.
• Familiarity with desktop computers.

Schedule

May require travel by automobile and airplane for business. May require visits to warehouse operations in temperatures at or below freezing. May require the occasional lifting, carrying, positioning, and/or moving of objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
