About the role
Join our team as a Watershed Communications Assistant. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to promote watershed health and conservation efforts through effective communication strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement communication plans to raise awareness about watershed issues.
- Collaborate with local communities, organizations, and government agencies to gather and disseminate information.
- Create and maintain social media profiles to share updates and news related to watershed conservation.
- Prepare and distribute press releases, newsletters, and other promotional materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Experience in public relations or communications preferred.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Skills
