Responsibilities
- Provide Power Coordination, interface with ships force, NSWCPD, ISRA and other activities performing shipboard work to schedule the “tagin/tagout of all equipment.
- Provide power to ensure safety of workers and support for the alterations being completed by the maintenance activity, shipyard and Alteration Installation Team (AIT).
- Notify the Ship Manager Representative of delays and changes from all production entities.
- Support Shipboard Testing with in-depth knowledge of the Shipboard WAF process and eSOMS system.
- Provide waterfront power support daily and manage the schedule for all aspects of work being completed.
Qualifications
- 8 years of navy maintenace experiece, 3 years of experience in oversight and management of the removal, installation and testing of Navy ships systems during availabilities, including modernization actions.
- Experience should include managing shipboard work in power coordination, coordination and scheduling the “tag in/tag out” of all equipment providing power to ensure safety of all workers.
- HS Graduate and 3 years of experience in the operation, maintenance, testing and repair of HM&E Equipment on US Navy Surface Ships or Submarines.
- Active Secret Clearance

Pay Transparency Statement AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $60,000.00/Yr. - USD $70,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
