Water/Wastewater Treatment Practice Leader

About the Role

This position drives business development, cultivates client relationships, and advances the firm’s strategic growth in water and wastewater treatment, with a focus on the Dallas-Fort Worth market. The role emphasizes technical leadership, project delivery excellence, and active client engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop opportunities in North Texas in major areas of water resources and water/wastewater treatment.
• Create and execute a business development plan for the region, aligned with the sector’s strategic vision and operational plan.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, team partners, and industry leaders.
• Represent Parkhill at council and commission meetings, conferences, and seminars.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Texas required; ability to obtain licensure in New Mexico and Oklahoma.
• 10 years of experience specializing in either water resources and/or water/wastewater treatment.
• Proven business development experience, including pursuing clients, preparing proposals, and managing relationships.
• Experience working with state, regional, and local public agencies—including municipalities, water districts, river authorities, counties, and other state entities—as well as state and federal funding agencies.
