About the role

As a Water/Wastewater Territory Manager, you will oversee water and wastewater treatment facilities, leading technical efforts for planning, studies, budgeting, technical management, and coordination of multi-discipline engineering projects. This position offers the opportunity to grow both technically and in business development while working with a team of experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical efforts for planning, studies, budgeting, technical management, coordination of multi-discipline engineering efforts, quality assurance, subcontractor management, and contract administration.
  • Supervise staff and subcontractors to successfully deliver technical projects.
  • Participate in technical/project scoping activities and proposal presentations with targeted clients.
  • Mentor the technical development of staff and strengthen the team.
  • Identify new business opportunities for high growth and profitability.
  • Assist in the evaluation of prospective clients and opportunities, reinforcing sound business decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in environmental science, chemistry, engineering, or a related field. Relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Valid Water and/or Wastewater Operator License required; Class 2 or higher Water preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with regulatory compliance and environmental regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, technologies, equipment, operations, and systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Proficiency in computer applications used for data management, reporting, and operational analysis.

Following an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check.
