About the role

As a Water/Wastewater Project Professional joining our New England Water Team, you will support our growing water resources market in New England through collaboration with our water and/or wastewater team. You will work in a team-oriented environment, primarily leveraging your technical expertise to develop technical solutions for a wide range of projects in the water/wastewater space. This role is available in any of our New England offices: Boston, MA; Springfield, MA; Worcester, MA; Rocky Hill, CT; Portland, ME; Manchester, NH. Much of our team enjoys a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Successfully contribute to projects by providing technical guidance, design, and skill-based solutions for water and/or wastewater clients to deliver a full range of water-related engineering services.
  • Participate in technical, cost, and scheduling efforts, ensuring company quality standards (including internal quality control and risk management protocols such as peer reviews), and driving customer value.
  • Direct and coordinate water/wastewater activities including those with complex, multi-disciplinary involvement.
  • Coordinate with regulatory and funding agencies.
  • Participate in technical/project scoping activities and proposal presentations with targeted clients.
  • Assist in direction of project planning, budgeting, and establishing critical project objectives.
  • Work with clients, staff engineers, designers, and subconsultants.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years of related experience.
  • Strong technical expertise, specifically in municipal water and/or wastewater engineering, and be fully capable of providing technical leadership and direction to project teams.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and technical writing skills.
  • Professional Engineering Registration preferred.

Pay

Massachusetts: The expected salary range for the position is $116,000 - $197,000. Final agreed-upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
