Responsibilities

  • Take the lead on planning and designing water, wastewater, treatment, distribution, and collection system projects
  • Drive project success by managing scope, schedule, and budgets
  • Prepare and oversee development of plans, specifications, cost estimates, and schedules
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering and technical staff
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions
  • Coordinate with CAD teams to bring designs to life
  • Interface with regulatory agencies and navigate permitting requirements
  • Support business development efforts, including proposals and client pursuits
  • Build lasting relationships with municipal and private sector clients

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering
  • 6+ years of experience in water/wastewater design and project leadership
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Ohio
  • Experience working with municipal and/or private clients
  • Knowledge of funding programs and project financing (state/federal)
  • Strong understanding of permitting and regulatory requirements
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality work
  • Deep technical expertise and a passion for solving complex infrastructure challenges

Qualifications

  • Qualified candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Ohio.

Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with project management software

Pay

The starting salary for this position is $110,000, with final compensation determined based on qualifications, experience, and licensing status.

Schedule

Location: Flexible across Ohio offices (hybrid)
