Water/Wastewater Project Manager, Fishkill
POSITION SUMMARY
Use technical and management skills to plan, design, and construct water/wastewater infrastructure facilities in a teaming setting, specifically wastewater treatment, pumping stations and collection systems. Oversee the preparation of design calculations, design plans, technical specifications, reports, and permit applications for wastewater projects. Manage construction administration phases and coordination for construction observation services. Client interaction, presentations, and project coordination. Coordination with various municipalities and governmental regulating agencies. Mentor junior-level engineers to share technical job knowledge and experience. Communicate effectively and coordinate with project team members, including sub-consultants. Support business development activities to increase backlog with current and new clients. Monitor project budgets and schedules. Conduct quality assurance/quality control reviews of project deliverables. Professional networking.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET- accredited college with 10+ years of relevant experience in civil and environmental engineering and consulting with focus in municipal wastewater projects.
- Professional Engineer Registration (PE) is required.
- Possess strong leadership, planning and organizational skills.
- Experienced in business development and client relations.
- Ability to work within multiple design teams and execute to meet demanding schedules.
- Possess excellent technical writing and communication skills for client presentations and written reports.
- Demonstrated understanding of State, Federal, and local regulations specific to sanitary sewers and wastewater treatment.
