Job Responsibilities And Duties
- Attends site visits
- Calculates pressure, flow, and capacities
- Designs underground and above-ground piping systems
- Selects and specifies equipment
- Coincides with government agencies and other stakeholders
- Prepares plans, specifications, and estimated costs for project bidding and construction with limited oversight
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Proficient in Market Sector Software (C3D/P3D/GIS/WaterCAD/Innovyze/Hammer/Infosurge)
- Advanced proficiency with drafting and water/wastewater design software
- Experience with governing state water/WW rules, AWWA standards (water), Uniform Fire Code, NFPA820 Fire Code for WW Facilities, LT2 SWTR, NPDES permits, and other relevant design codes
- Ability to interpret, select from, and employ design codes with advanced skill
- Experience leading small teams (1-2 people) to complete challenging assignments
- Experience with industry standards and regulations
- Experience with budget and schedule management
- Experience with client interaction and communication
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 6 years of experience required
- 5 years of experience with advanced degree required
- PE required
