Responsibilities
- Assist with the development of drawings, specifications, opinions of cost, and reports, from conceptual planning to construction
- Engage in technical discussions about design approaches, budget considerations, and schedule, promoting achievement of client goals on both design-bid-build and design-build projects
- Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary project teams to develop high-quality deliverables that align with client needs and regulatory requirements
- Delegate tasks effectively, mentoring staff engineers, and managing priorities to meet project milestones
- Participate in field work, including site visits, data collection, and some construction observation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
- At least five years of consulting engineering experience with increasing responsibility in the wastewater industry
- Licensure as a Professional Engineer or the ability to obtain within six months
- Enthusiasm for learning, self-motivation, and strong written and verbal communication skills
