Key Responsibilities
- Perform engineering design for water and wastewater pipeline projects, including small diameter (
- Prepare contract documents including plans, specifications, and cost estimates
- Perform hydraulic flow modeling and pressure calculations for pipelines
- Conduct pump calculations and develop system curves for pump sizing
- Support planning, design, and construction of water, wastewater, pumping, storage, and treatment facilities
- Review shop drawings and submittals for compliance with project requirements
- Conduct site visits during design and construction to observe installation and progress
- Assist with client communication, proposal preparation, and future business development efforts
- Support or lead project management activities, including coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering (ABET accredited or NCEES equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant water/wastewater experience
- Experience designing small and large diameter water and sewer pipelines
- Experience working with municipalities and utility providers
- Experience with water and wastewater treatment and pumping facility design
- Hydraulic modeling experience (InfoWater, InfoWorks ICM, WaterGEMS, WaterCAD, or similar)
- Strong understanding of pipeline hydraulics, system operations, and conveyance design
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across disciplines
Pay
Compensation Range: $83,978.91 - $95,975.90
