About the role
Join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering innovative, sustainable solutions for water resource challenges. In this role, you’ll collaborate with experts across disciplines to design and implement projects that protect and enhance our natural environment.
Responsibilities
- Design projects of varying disciplines (levee design, WTPs, pump stations, pipelines, storage tanks, etc.)
- Hydraulic modeling for potable water systems and flooding analyses
- Prepare figures, maps, and other graphics using AutoCAD and GIS software
- Prepare technical reports and memoranda
- Communicate well with other staff engineers, project managers, and principal engineers
Requirements
- Potable Water system design (WTPs, pipelines, pump stations, storage tanks)
- Wastewater/Storm Drain system design (Pipelines and lift stations)
- Water/Wastewater System planning (Master Plans, hydraulic modeling)
- Flood Control System Design (levee design, ULDC compliance)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university
- 0-2 years of related experience
- EIT is a plus
- Experience using AutoCAD/Civil 3D required
- Experience with ArcGIS, HY-8, HEC-RAS, Win TR-55, Win TR-20, HydroCad, and Excel is all beneficial
