Water/Wastewater Engineer - Entry Level
Responsibilities
- Water and sewer modeling
- Water and wastewater facility evaluation
- Design of water and wastewater facilities including pipelines, pumping systems, and treatment systems
- Construction administration
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- 0-4 years of water/wastewater design experience
- Understanding of or experience designing water and wastewater facilities including pipelines, pumping systems, and treatment systems
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, Bentley MicroStation and water distribution and sewer modeling software (a plus)
- Relevant internship experience required for new graduates
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to work cooperatively with others
- Passing grade on the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam or EIT (preferred)
