About the role

We are currently seeking a full-time Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our Kansas City, MO office. Our team works with communities on a wide range of civil, municipal, and environmental projects. You will collaborate with Engineers, CAD Technicians, Construction Observers, Land Survey Chiefs, and office staff in various capacities.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Business Development, including initiation of client contacts and preparation of project proposals.
• Engage in client contact, including attendance at board or council meetings.
• Prepare detailed technical engineering reports.
• Prepare plans and specifications for specific projects.
• Work with Construction Observers/Resident Technicians during all facets of construction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
• 5-10+ years of environmental engineering design experience.
• Experience in municipal wastewater treatment and drinking water treatment design and construction.
• Missouri or Kansas P.E. license or EIT certification with ability to obtain P.E. license within 1 year preferred.

Following an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check.
