About the role
Luck Stone's Leesburg Plant is seeking a Water Truck Operator to skillfully navigate quarry roads and plants, dispersing water to dissipate airborne dust.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspection of vehicle
- Identify and report road and equipment issues
- Fill truck with water and fuel the vehicle
- Ensure vehicle receives proper maintenance
- Assist with projects and activities beyond heavy equipment operation when needed
- Prioritize safety for self and others throughout the site
- Aid coworkers to ensure the site is clean and organized at the end of each shift
Requirements
- Prior experience in a quarry or large construction environment is a plus
- Must have a team-oriented, positive outlook toward work and accomplishing goals
Schedule
6:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, plus a half-day on Saturday (overtime as needed).
Pay
Competitive hourly pay, paid biweekly.
