Water Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe and productive driving operations using various equipment.
• Communicate and listen effectively.
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with all personnel.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections to identify safety and maintenance issues.
• Complete daily vehicle inspection forms.
• Perform daily housekeeping on the truck.
• Safely operate and maintain the truck.
• Accurately load, secure, and unload materials.
• Complete load tickets accurately when applicable.
• Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written).
• Work with difficult people under high stress situations.
• Maintain positive customer relations and act courteously/respectfully of others.
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve situations/problems (material quality, equipment operation/repair, etc.).
• Monitor and discuss production problems with co-workers and managers/supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DNR, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• One or more years’ experience operating commercial vehicles.
• Knowledge of construction operations.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and CDL required.
• Able to work day shifts and night shifts, with shifts varying based on project demands.
• Able to work in all weather conditions.
• Willingness to travel if job requires.
• Passes a pre-employment drug screen.
