About the role

The Water Treatment Plant Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining water treatment facilities to ensure safe and reliable water supply.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor water treatment processes to maintain quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment.
• Document all activities and report any issues to supervisors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience in water treatment operations or related field preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Good physical condition to perform manual labor.
• Excellent communication skills.

Skills

• Proficient in using water treatment equipment.
