Position Details
- Location: Bedford Park, IL (Clearing)
- Work week and shift for first year: 6AM to 2:30PM M-F
- Work shift after first year: 6PM to 6AM - 12 hour night shift
- Some overtime work may be required for this role
Minimum Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience with boiler operation or wastewater treatment
- Ability to read and interpret instructions and manuals in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Boiler License (NILUPE, City of Chicago) or in process of completing Boiler License
Physical Demands
- Ability to physically perform the essential duties of the position which include lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, balancing, walking, standing, talking and hearing
- Ability to wear a respirator under certain conditions
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures
